Baked Tofu

Recently the Boyfriend and I have been on a baked tofu kick. We’ve made it at least once a week the past three weeks, and each time it’s been fabulous! We drain it, marinate it in one of our favorite sauces, then cook it on a baking sheet between 350 and 400 degrees Farenheit, 10-15 minutes each side. The length of time truly depends on the sauce used, as some will burn more easily than others.

I am most proud of the Asian BBQ Sauce Baked Tofu, as I made up the sauce recipe as we went along. I whisked together about 1/3 cup ketchup; 1 tablespoon honey; 1 teaspoon lime juice; 2 tablespoons soy sauce; sriracha sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste. I added a little water to thin it out too.

Question – what’s your favorite way to prepare tofu?
