May Goals

First, a quick recap of April’s goals:

  1. Take some “me time.”  I’ve actually been pretty good about this.  It’s a little easier now that the weather is nice and I don’t feel like I need to bunker in my apartment all day every day.
  2. Focus on the positive.  This has been difficult with all the horrible things going on in the world, but I’m trying.

And now, for the month of May:

This month I’m going to focus on just one goal:  Accept the things I cannot change, and embrace the things that make me happy.  This is a little similar to the focus on the positive from April, but I think it’s really important.  There’s so much negativity surrounding us every day.  Much of the time we cannot change that, but we can change our own perspectives.
