First, a quick recap of April’s goals:
- Take some “me time.” I’ve actually been pretty good about this. It’s a little easier now that the weather is nice and I don’t feel like I need to bunker in my apartment all day every day.
- Focus on the positive. This has been difficult with all the horrible things going on in the world, but I’m trying.
And now, for the month of May:
This month I’m going to focus on just one goal: Accept the things I cannot change, and embrace the things that make me happy. This is a little similar to the focus on the positive from April, but I think it’s really important. There’s so much negativity surrounding us every day. Much of the time we cannot change that, but we can change our own perspectives.
